As part of the National Pharmacy Week 2026 celebrations, Princeton College of Pharmacy organized an Educational Leaflet Design Competition on 29 September 2026 based on the theme “Swastha Bharath: Combating Antimicrobial Resistance.” The event was conducted with the objective of encouraging students to creatively communicate important health and pharmaceutical information through informative, attractive, and visually appealing leaflets.

The competition provided students with an opportunity to showcase their creativity, scientific knowledge, communication skills, and design abilities while addressing the growing public health concern of antimicrobial resistance (AMR). Participants prepared educational leaflets focusing on topics such as the responsible use of antibiotics, prevention of antimicrobial resistance, antibiotic stewardship, infection prevention and control, rational use of medicines, and public health awareness.

The activity emphasized the importance of presenting scientific and health-related information in a simple, accurate, attractive, and easy-to-understand format. Through their creative designs, students highlighted the significance of using antimicrobial medicines responsibly and the collective role of healthcare professionals and the public in preventing the spread of antimicrobial resistance.

The Educational Leaflet Design Competition was successfully conducted in an engaging and educational atmosphere. It served as an effective platform for students to integrate their pharmaceutical knowledge with creativity while creating awareness about antimicrobial resistance and promoting responsible medicine-use practices in the community.

The programme concluded on a positive note, with appreciation for the enthusiastic participation and creative efforts of all the students. The event served as a meaningful and valuable part of the National Pharmacy Week 2026 celebrations at Princeton College of Pharmacy, reinforcing the message of “Swastha Bharath: Combating Antimicrobial Resistance” and highlighting the important role of pharmacists and future healthcare professionals in building a healthier and safer society.
