Princeton College of Pharmacy continues to lead the way in empowering students for successful careers in the pharmaceutical industry by organizing a special “Expert Talk Series” featuring senior professionals from top pharmaceutical companies. This initiative reflects the institution’s deep commitment to industry-academia synergy and career preparedness.
The expert talk series aimed to educate students about real-world industry expectations, career paths, global trends in pharma, and soft skills essential for professional growth. The sessions were attended by final-year B.Pharm and M.Pharm students who are preparing for campus placements and future opportunities.
The event featured guest speakers from reputed companies like Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Aurobindo Pharma, and Cipla. They shared their career journeys and provided insights into various pharmaceutical domains such as drug discovery, clinical research, regulatory affairs, pharmacovigilance, and industrial pharmacy. The interactive nature of the sessions allowed students to ask questions and receive firsthand guidance on choosing their areas of interest.
A major highlight was the session on “Emerging Career Trends in Pharma,” which emphasized the increasing demand for professionals in areas like biopharmaceuticals, data analytics in pharma, and clinical trials. Experts also stressed the importance of continuous learning and upskilling in today’s dynamic job market.
In addition to technical knowledge, the series also focused on soft skills such as communication, adaptability, time management, and teamwork. Sessions were conducted on interview etiquette, resume writing, and professional networking—key aspects often overlooked by students entering the job market.
