INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY CELEBRATIONS ON MARCH 8TH 2025
On March 8th, 2025, Princeton College of Pharmacy will celebrate International Women’s Day with enthusiasm and purpose, recognizing the invaluable contributions of women in all spheres of life, especially in healthcare and education. The event will serve as a platform to honor the achievements of women, promote gender equality, and inspire the student community to become advocates for a more inclusive society. The day’s celebrations will begin with a welcome address by the Principal, highlighting the significance of Women’s Day and the vital role women play in shaping families, communities, and the pharmacy profession. This will be followed by inspirational talks by distinguished women professionals from the fields of pharmacy, medicine, and academia, who will share their journeys, challenges, and successes. Students will actively participate in the celebration through cultural performances, including dance, music, and skits that reflect the strength, resilience, and spirit of women. A panel discussion will also be held on topics such as women’s health, leadership, and empowerment, allowing students to engage in meaningful dialogue and gain fresh perspectives. To encourage creativity and awareness, competitions like poster making, essay writing, and poetry on women-centric themes will be organized. Prizes and certificates will be awarded to winners, motivating students to express their views with confidence and clarity. The event will conclude with a vote of thanks and a small token of appreciation distributed to all women faculty and staff members as a gesture of respect and gratitude. By celebrating International Women’s Day, Princeton College of Pharmacy reaffirms its commitment to promoting gender equality, respect, and empowerment—values that are essential in building not just a successful career, but also a compassionate and just society.
